About Us

The idea of SEBENZA was born from a need. I operate a SME in Carletonville, and to optimize my business I needed a vehicle that is light on fuel, easy to maintain, inexpensive to repair, versatile, durable and not desired by hijackers.

I imported my first SEBENZA from China and interest in the vehicle was surprising. I realized that so many other businesses and entrepreneurs could benefit from this product and I decided to import it for sale to the public.

We then had to get the SEBENZA homologated and SABS approved. A new CC was formed to handle all the administrative and legal matters in this enterprise nl Oberholzer Motor Truck and Tractor We presented the SEBENZA to SABS and it wasn’t approved, but this was my dream and I started working on improvements. It was a long process that took about 18 months of working with various engineers, making a lot of changes and I am proud to now present SEBENZA to South Africa, homologated and approved by SABS and registered on the eNatis system .

We also stock a full range of spare parts, I know a product is only as good as its after sales service, and I strive to give every SEBENZA owner exceptional service in that regard .

Our factory/assembly plant is fully capable of training prospective dealer technical staff. We are now firmly established in the transport importation trade and will expand our range of vehicles constantly We are in the process of testing various other fuel economic and electric vehicles. Some of them show great promise.
